Predominant winds on the island are 2, MAESTRALE and SCIROCCO. MAESTRALE comes from the north-west and it is very constant, making for good conditions for wave slalom. SCIROCCO offers flat water and 1 mt wave, it's really good for riders that loves speed. When LEVANTE arrives everybody knows.... During springtime storms it can blow at 80-90 km/h, though the sea stays flat and it is ideal for speed. Percentage of windy days is higher in the summer or in wintertime. Best months are from March to November and outside of the summer peak tourist season the island offers beautiful landscapes and breath-taking sunsets. The African coast is only 70 km away and on clear afternoons  it looks like it sits at arm’s reach.
